Could Voluntary State Mediation Become A Reality?

It certainly could become a reality in the near future. The current proposed rule changes to the 60Q-6 Rules of Procedure for Workers' Compensation Adjudications contains language that would permit the parties to stipulate to the use of voluntary state mediation. This would appear to be a result of the decrease in utilization of state mediation in Florida workers' compensation cases.
